*Restorative yoga assists you in achieving physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The specific sequence of poses will ease the physical and mental tension that accumulates in the course of your regular daily activities, making way for your body’s natural ability to heal itself. As you focus on slow, deep, rhythmic breathing, you’ll allow yourself to relax completely and experience a sense of wellbeing that you can carry with you as you back out into your life.
**Beginner classes are suitable for those who are new to yoga or those who are looking for a slower paced, more descriptive experience. The class will help you develop body awareness, learn the basic postures (asanas) and their modifications, and understand the importance of deep, steady breathing. Emphasis on proper alignment will help you build strength slowly and safely and prepare you for more advanced postures as you move forward in your practice.
